Senior staff photographer Brian McCord attended Nossi College of Art in Tennessee and earned a degree in commercial digital photography in 2000. Prior to joining Journal Communications in 2005, he was a staff photographer at The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville.
Staff photographer Todd Bennett started his career at the Athens Daily News in Athens, Ga., and worked for several newspapers, including the Augusta Chronicle in Augusta, Ga., and The State in Columbia, S.C. Todd earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and his master's degree in photography from Ohio University.
Staff photographer Jeff Adkins joined Journal Communications in July 2007. He was previously a staff photographer at the Knoxville News-Sentinel and The Baton Rouge Advocate newspapers. Jeff also completed an extended internship with the Columbus Dispatch newspaper in Columbus, Ohio upon graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in advertising.
